If you are visiting my website you're probably dealing with a very difficult and pivotal family situation and searching for the right type of help, the right person to help, the right time to help and reasonable fees. After visiting my website I hope you have an idea of how I work, what I expect from you, what you can expect from me, and what you can expect from the process.
I have much admiration for those who consider a collaborative and cooperative approach to working through a significant change in their life. I help people get through their transition and change in a timely manner: efficiently, effectively and objectively.
A key thing to be said for "change" is that it is constant. Change will always be a part of our lives. My speciality is "managing change," which includes both transition and outcome. I help people manage both their process of change (needs, desires and roadblocks) and the results of their change (what they want or hope to have when it's done).
How change is managed can greatly influence the success, happiness, and well being of all involved. With this in mind, I help those who are working through pivotal changes in their life. I offer professional assistance and guidance rather than mental health counseling as we work together to reach resolution.
I provide assistance as a:
- Parent Coordinator/Parent Facilitator
- Parenting Plan Facilitator
- Parenting Arbitrator
- Elder Care Facilitator
- Family Mediator
PARENT COORDINATION/FACILITATION:
WHAT IS PARENT COORDINATION/FACILITATION?
Parent Coordination is an Alternative Dispute Resolution Process for Parents and Caregivers. Adults usually seek Parent Coordination/Facilitation for the following reasons:
1. To develop a temporary or permanent parenting plan (or caregiving plan).
2. To modify an existing judgment or parenting plan.
3. To resolve parenting disputes and possibly to arbitrate disputes.
4. To observe and document compliance with a Court order.
5. To assist in Parenting Plan implementation.
6. To make recommendations, identify issues, and report to attorneys and/or
the Court issues and concerns.
7. Other: as specified by the Court Order.
I provide Parent Coordination/Parent Facilitation anytime during the parenting and caregiving years. The process, according to Florida Statutes, does not provide for or allow the Coordinator/Facilitator to give legal advice, financial information or mental health therapy. I am not an attorney, a financial advisor or mental health professional. Participants should not consider this a substitue for legal counsel, financial advice or psychological counseling. WOULD A PARENT COORDINATOR HELP YOU?
If you want someone to help you with your family's parenting or caregiving needs, have a sense of urgency, want clear objectives, seek to have defined goals and specific timelines, then keep reading...I may be of help to you.
I work with parents (and caregivers)--whether never married, married and going through separation, before divorce, during divorce, or after divorce, or family/adult siblings caring for elderly or dependant family member--to transition to a new, parenting and caregiving relationship.
As Parent Coordinator I help parents transition from a "together parenting relationship" to "separate parenting relationship" that is collaborative, and cooperative. Starting with the Florida Supreme Court Basic Parenting Plan, we work together to design a parenting plan (or caregiving plan) that is customized (or tailored) to meet the needs of both the parents and children. Recognizing tht parenting needs may change as children grow, I encourage parents to look toward the future and include provisions that allow the prenting plan to change, if needed.

PARENTING PLANS:
WHAT IS A PARENTING PLAN?
According to new Florida Statues parents seeking Court intervention to terminate their adult relationship or to resolve parenting disputes are required to have a Parenting Plan Agreement. A Parenting Plan puts the well being of the children in the forefront and clarifies parenting responsibilities, roles, boundaries, schedules, etc.
WHO HELPS PARENTS MAKE A PARENTING PLAN?
As Parent Coordinator I help parents transition from a "together parental relationship" to a "separate, collaborative, cooperative parental relationship" by starting with the Florida Supreme Court Parenting Plan and customizing it to meet the needs of both the parents and the children. Recognizing that parenting needs may change as children grow, I encourage parents to look toward the future and include provisions that allow the parenting plan to change, if needed.
PARENTING PLAN FACILITATOR:
I work with parents to develop a "custom" parenting plan which defines and determines how they will collaboratively and cooperatively co-parent their children, separately, and yet "together."
